About the Role
This developer relations role sits at the intersection of technical community building, developer advocacy, and growth at an early-stage AI infrastructure company. You will help establish its San Francisco presence, connect with developers building in AI and machine learning, and turn community insights into measurable product and go-to-market outcomes.
What You'll Do
* Build and host recurring meetups for the San Francisco AI and machine learning infrastructure community.
* Represent the company at relevant meetups, hackathons, and conferences, and build lasting relationships with developers.
* Create and share technical content, including talks, blog posts, social content, and demo videos.
* Demonstrate Python-based tools live, answer technical questions, read code, and troubleshoot with engineering audiences.
* Connect product usage, GitHub activity, and CRM data using tools such as Mixpanel, GitHub APIs, and Attio to support lead scoring and follow-up.
* Share community feedback and market signals with product and go-to-market teams.
What We're Looking For
* At least 2 years of experience in developer relations, community building, growth, or developer-facing go-to-market work, with measurable event or business outcomes.
* Proficiency with Python, APIs, and production code, and the ability to demo technical products and troubleshoot live.
* Experience building and measuring community engagement workflows with CRM, enrichment, automation, and LLM-based tools.
* Background in an early-stage or resource-constrained environment, with the ability to own initiatives independently.
* Experience creating technical content and working with open-source communities, GitHub audiences, and product-led or usage-based growth.
* Familiarity with AI, machine learning infrastructure, MLOps, or related developer platforms, plus a professional network in the San Francisco community.
