**What You Will Do**
* **Lead the charge** in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care—because great care starts with great leadership! * **Put the nursing process to work** by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care with skill and creativity. * **Delegate like a pro**, supervise with confidence, and document everything your patients and their families need to know—keeping everyone in the loop and on the same page. * **Be the communication hub** of the healthcare team by sharing pertinent patient and family information that keeps everyone connected and informed. * **Get creative with solutions** by identifying and implementing ways to keep patients on track with their care goals—turning challenges into wins! * **Monitor and respond** to patient vital signs and cardiovascular status with vigilance, recognizing changes and taking prompt action to ensure optimal outcomes. * **Administer medications and treatments** accurately and safely, maintaining detailed records and educating patients about their cardiovascular care regimen. * **Collaborate seamlessly** with cardiologists, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and execute comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs. * **Educate patients and families** about heart health, recovery protocols, and lifestyle modifications, empowering them to take an active role in their healing journey. * **Uphold safety and infection control standards** by following established protocols and best practices to maintain a secure, sterile environment for all patients.

What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
* Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. * Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. * Health care provider certification (BCLS).
Preferred Qualifications
* BSN preferred.
