Job Description
Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000
Position Summary
Support the evaluation, validation, and documentation of new and existing processes. Will also be responsible for providing support to the CNC department by programming, set-up, and troubleshooting.
Essential Functions
* CNC programming utilizing CAD/CAM software; preferably ESPRIT * Responsible for released machines, tools, and processes * Provide process documentation (work instructions, box counts, operator training documents, etc.) * Lead cross-functional teams to develop PFMEA, Control Plan, and Process Flow Diagrams * Perform competitive analysis to identify opportunities and potential changes in production methods * Drive continuous improvement of existing processes to reduce waste
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
* Must be able to work in a team setting * Experience with automated machinery * Analytical, able to solve complex technical problems * Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings * Experience with Solidworks and/or equivalent 3d modeling software * PFMEA, PFD, and control plan experience
Education / Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology or equivalent experience. * 3-5 years’ manufacturing experience in a CNC setting
