Job Description
The Role:
Clifford Chance is seeking an associate with at least three years of experience to join its growing Life Sciences practice. The associate will focus primarily on complex licensing, collaboration, and other strategic transactions in the biopharma sector, with additional opportunities to support M&A and related life sciences matters. The associate will work directly with partners and senior lawyers across the Life Sciences licensing and collaboration practice.
Qualifications
Your experience
* Experience with complex licensing, collaboration, and other strategic commercial transactions, preferably in the life sciences or biopharma sector. * Strong interest in developing a practice focused on life sciences and working with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. * Experience supporting M&A and other corporate transactions, including transactional due diligence, is beneficial. * Scientific or technical background is highly valued. * Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical and organizational skills. * Ability to manage multiple matters and work effectively with partners, clients and broader deal teams. * Excellent academic credentials and written and verbal communication skills. * Admission to the applicable state bar, or eligibility to become admitted.
Admission to the New York bar is required. Submissions must include a resume and law school transcript(s).
Clifford Chance US LLP offers a comprehensive benefits and compensation package. Subject to the candidate's experience, the salary range for this role is $260,000-$390,000. Actual salary will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.
