Job Description

Description of the position

* Curious about how a global outdoor brand transforms its supply chain planning processes? * Interested in participating in the implementation of a new supply planning tool (APS – Advanced Planning System)?   * Looking for an opportunity to combine supply chain operations, business analysis, and transformation projects in an international environment?

We are looking for a Supply Planning Digital Transformation Intern to join the Softgoods Supply Planning team and support the implementation of our future APS solution (o9). Working at the intersection of business processes, digital transformation, and supply chain operations, you will contribute to shaping how supply planners balance worldwide demand & production capacity while limiting inventory coverage.

You will collaborate with Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Sourcing, Merchandising, IT teams and external partners, from the preparation of the design phase (defining how the tool should work) to the transition into the build phase (when it is configured).

Main responsibilities

* APS implementation & supply planning transformation – support the business team throughout the implementation phases * Maintain a structured repository of supply planning processes, business rules and glossary documentation, used as reference materials during the project * Participate in the functional design workshops alongside the business team, to build an in-depth understanding of the future solution and of the design decisions taken   * Help translate business needs into user stories, the standard format used to describe requirements to the project team * Compare business needs with what the tool can do, and document the gaps identified and the solutions found * Keep a clear link between business needs, the way they are designed in the tool, and the tests that will validate them

* Supply planning operational support – understanding how planners work today is what will allow you to contribute meaningfully to the design of tomorrow's tools and processes * Work alongside supply planners on day-to-day topics: production plan build and updates, alignment between demand, supply and inventory objectives * Contribute to ad-hoc analyses supporting supply planning review and operational decision making within the S&OP process * Support the monitoring of supply chain performance and operational KPIs * Help identify supply, capacity, inventory or delivery risks, and understand how planners arbitrate them
