About the Role
Join an early-stage engineering team building AI-powered tools for the freight and logistics industry. In this customer-facing role, you will work closely with operations teams to understand complex workflows and turn their needs into reliable production software.
What You'll Do
* Partner with logistics teams to understand their workflows and translate requirements into system designs.
* Build AI-powered full-stack tools using Node.js and TypeScript.
* Integrate with enterprise systems, APIs, event queues, and file transfer systems.
* Build reliable data pipelines that handle messy information from multiple sources.
* Help shape product direction and technical decisions with the engineering team.
* Own work from design through deployment, iterate based on feedback, and travel regularly to customer sites in Europe and Asia.
What We're Looking For
* At least 3 years of experience building full-stack applications or backend systems in production.
* Strong TypeScript and Node.js skills, with React or another modern frontend framework as a plus.
* Experience designing APIs, integrating external and enterprise systems, and building data pipelines.
* Experience building and maintaining backend infrastructure, and working with tools such as Docker, Terraform, GCP, or AWS.
* Clear communication skills and experience working directly with customers or end users.
* Interest or experience in logistics, supply chain, AI/LLM architectures, or early-stage environments is beneficial.
* Willingness to work hybrid from Berlin and travel regularly to customer sites.
