Job Type: Full Time, 45 hours per week Salary: £45,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Executive Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring consistently high standards of food and service. * Produce food preparation across the operation, including functions and events in different areas of the business. * Support the training, development and supervision of junior chefs, helping to maintain a positive and professional kitchen environment. * Work closely with key members of the team to plan and deliver food requirements across all areas of the business. * Ensure the smooth running of daily kitchen operations and the consistent delivery of the agreed menu offering. * Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency in line with expectations set by the Executive Chef. * Support with pastry preparation and production when required. Previous pastry experience would be highly desirable, although you do not need to be a specialist Pastry Chef.
