Job Description
The Sustainability intern's key responsibilities and opportunities:
* Work under the guidance of the Energy Lead and collaborate with energy, utilities and facilities teams
* Gain hands-on experience in sustainability and energy management within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
* Support energy-efficiency and cost-transformation projects, from opportunity analysis through implementation and results validation
* Analyse energy data, performance indicators and utility costs to identify improvement opportunities, risks and practical actions
* Support energy audits, monitoring systems, budgets and clear progress reporting to stakeholders
* Coordinate energy projects with operations to deliver improvements safely, on schedule and with minimal impact to manufacturing
* Promote energy awareness and contribute fresh ideas and perspectives that strengthen site sustainability and productivity
* Develop competencies in energy conservation, trend and data analysis, engineering fundamentals, project management, root cause analysis (RCA), risk-based decision-making, safety and quality standards
