Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
Location: Kansas City, Missouri
Bring Your Clinical Skills to Community-Based Urgent Care
Integrity Care Group is hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for its Columbia, Missouri, clinic. In this role, you will assess and treat patients presenting with urgent and episodic medical needs, supported by clinical colleagues and operational leadership.
This position offers clinical variety, professional autonomy, and scheduling flexibility. Experienced providers and motivated candidates with relevant clinical training and experience are encouraged to apply.
Hours and Earning Opportunities
Schedule
* Work 12-hour shifts
* Complete seven shifts during each 14-day period
* Flexible scheduling options may be available
Compensation
* Hourly pay of $67–$80
* Compensation determined by experience, qualifications, and clinical productivity
* Potential overtime opportunities
* Opportunities for productivity and performance incentives
* Relocation assistance or a signing bonus may be negotiated depending on experience, qualifications, location, and organizational needs
What You Will Do
* Assess patients, establish diagnoses, and manage urgent and episodic medical conditions
* Order diagnostic testing, laboratory studies, and imaging, and interpret the results
* Prescribe medications and develop appropriate treatment plans
* Provide common clinical procedures, including laceration repair and splinting
* Explain diagnoses, medications, treatment recommendations, and follow-up instructions to patients
* Complete accurate, thorough electronic medical records in a timely manner
* Coordinate care with physicians, fellow advanced practice providers, clinical personnel, and operational leaders
* Follow organizational policies and clinical standards while providing compassionate, patient-centered care
Credentials and Experience
Candidates must have:
* Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
* Current national certification appropriate to their professional discipline
* An active Missouri professional license appropriate to the provider’s discipline or the ability to obtain one
* Active DEA registration or the ability to obtain it
* Current Basic Life Support certification
* The ability to work effectively and apply sound clinical judgment in a fast-paced setting
Additional qualifications:
* Family Nurse Practitioner certification is preferred for Nurse Practitioner applicants
* DOT Medical Examiner certification is preferred; applicants willing to obtain it will also be considered
* Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or family medicine is preferred
* Motivated applicants with relevant clinical training and experience may also be considered
