Job Description
The Medical Assistant will support providers with both clinical and administrative duties while helping ensure a positive patient experience. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team. Dermatology experience is highly preferred, but we are open to training the right candidate with a strong work ethic and willingness to grow.
Responsibilities:
* Room patients and prepare them for examination * Obtain and document patient histories, vital signs, and chief complaints * Assist physicians and providers with examinations and procedures * Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and supplies * Perform clinical tasks such as injections, wound care, suture removal, and specimen handling (as permitted by role/training) * Assist with biopsies, surgeries, and dermatologic procedures * Provide patient education and relay provider instructions * Process prescriptions, prior authorizations, and refill requests * Support scheduling, charting, and electronic medical records documentation * Maintain cleanliness and proper stocking of exam rooms * Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and team members
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent (Medical Assistant certification preferred) * Minimum 1 year of medical office or clinical experience preferred * Dermatology experience highly preferred * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail * Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment * Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
Job Type:
* Full-time: Monday-Friday, 7:45am-4:45pm
