About the role

Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Receptionist / Dental Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their day, loves working with people, and is keen to be involved in both the front-office and clinical sides of a busy dental practice. You will play a key role in ensuring our patients receive a seamless and positive experience, while also providing valuable support to our clinicians.

Reception Responsibilities

* Welcoming patients and creating a positive first impression * Managing appointments and maintaining patient records * Processing payments and handling daily administrative tasks * Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice * Delivering outstanding customer service at every patient interaction

Dental Assistant Responsibilities

* Assisting clinicians during a wide range of dental procedures * Preparing treatment rooms and equipment * Maintaining infection control and sterilisation standards * Managing stock and clinical supplies * Supporting a safe, organised, and efficient clinical environment

Hours

* Monday: 7:45am – 4:45pm * Tuesday: 7:45am – 4:45pm * Wednesday: 7:45am – 4:45pm * Thursday: 7:45am – 4:45pm * Friday: 7:30am – 4:30pm

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

* Previous experience in a Receptionist or customer-facing role * Dental Assistant experience preferred, although full training can be provided for the right person * Strong organisational and time management skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Confidence using computer systems and learning new software * A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team * A genuine passion for delivering exceptional patient care and service
