In Life Line Screening’s community event-based setting, you will manage a fast-paced work environment in a different location each day. What you’ll do as a Leader at Life Line Screening:
* Provide direct support, training, and development to team and maintain Life Line Screening’s high standards of clinical quality and customer service
* Work with the Operations Director to set team performance and budgetary goals, and coach and encourage team to achieve or exceed them
* Participate in interviewing, hiring, and training new staff
* Complete end-of-day duties such as reports, paperwork, bank deposits, shipping/receiving functions, company van maintenance, and other operations duties as required
What you’ll do as a Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant at Life Line Screening: * Cross train and participate in all core Medical Assistant duties including Ankle Brachial Index, Osteoporosis, AFIB, Registration and Laboratory screening areas
* Review participant records for accuracy and completeness
* Conduct Venipuncture and finger-sticks, where scheduled
* Monitor patients for reactions as well as ensure the quality of the sample
* Ensure patient confidentiality and comfortability while meeting customer service expectations throughout entire process
* Oversee and ensure proper sanitation and cleaning of equipment and work areas between patients
* Properly package and ship specimens to central lab on a daily basis, where applicable
What you'll need to be successful at Life Line Screening: * Extensive work experience with customer-facing Medical Assistant and phlebotomy duties
* Precision phlebotomy skills with a minimum of 3 years' experience with adult venipuncture.
* Proven work experience in a leadership capacity
* Experienced with centrifuge and separating serum and plasma specimens into transport tubes using transfer devices
* Skilled in inpatient or outpatient draw experience (hospital, nursing home, doctor’s office traveling phlebotomist, or draw center, etc.)
* Desire to provide unparalleled customer service
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
* Valid driver’s license and eligibility for coverage under the company’s vehicle insurance policy
* Strength in leadership, teamwork & collaboration; sharing responsibilities driving the company van, loading, and unloading equipment (up to 50 lbs)
* Certification in phlebotomy from either the ASCP, NPA, NHA or AMT is preferred
