About the role
Schedule: HPO personnel will provide on-site services Monday through Friday, generally between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM, excluding Federal holidays. Individual schedules will not normally exceed 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week.
Summary: HPO personnel will provide strength and conditioning, athletic training, injury-prevention, rehabilitation, and administrative support at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, in support of Air Force personnel and mission readiness.
Requirements: • Strength and Conditioning Coaches must have a relevant Master’s degree, current CSCS certification, CPR/BLS/AED certification, and required experience. • Athletic Trainers must have a relevant Master’s degree, BOC certification, professional licensure, specialized treatment certification, and required experience. • The Administrative Assistant must have a high school diploma, recent administrative support experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. • All personnel must meet applicable background, credentialing, and installation-access requirements.
Duties: • Develop and conduct strength, conditioning, mobility, and injury-prevention programs. • Evaluate, treat, rehabilitate, and document musculoskeletal injuries. • Conduct physical assessments and monitor individual performance and recovery. • Coordinate with medical staff, HPO personnel, and Air Force leadership as required. • Maintain required schedules, reports, records, and administrative documentation.
