Swiss Machinist Lead | Weekend Nights
Osseo Area - Full-time - On-site $33–$47.90/hour base pay + shift premium + quarterly bonus opportunity with a 5% target Friday–Sunday, 5:00 p.m.–5:00 a.m.

Bring your Swiss machining expertise to a hands-on leadership role making precision medical components. We’re looking for a lead who can own setups, keep production on track, and coach machinists to do their best work—all in a clean, air-conditioned shop.
Your role
* Set up and run Swiss CNC machines with up to nine axes, using G and M code and some macro programming knowledge.
* Guide daily production to meet quality, output, and scrap targets.
* Coach and train machinists and operators, reinforcing consistent practices across shifts.
* Verify tight tolerances using microscopes, precision measuring tools, vision systems, and CMMs.
* Use SPC data to guide offsets and tool changes, and maintain part quality.
* Keep production and training records accurate, communicate clear shift handoffs, and escalate concerns.
* Support attendance expectations, performance reviews, and hiring interviews.
What you bring
* Experience: 7+ years in CNC Swiss machining; medical manufacturing experience is a plus.
* Independent setup skills and strong knowledge of Swiss machines and controls.
* The ability to coach teammates, communicate clearly, and balance competing priorities.
* Strong blueprint-reading, shop math, and precision measurement skills.
* High school diploma or GED, plus machine trades training or equivalent work experience.
* Authorization to work in the United States.
