American Sign Language (ASL) Language Interpreter - Independent Contractor
Job Description:
* Rates are negotiable* * Be fluent in both English and ASL * Be RID Certified, in process, or EIPA, NIC, NAD CI, CT or equivalent * Be prepared to have Livescan and Background Checks conducted * Be familiar with HIPPA and Cultural Sensitivity trainings * Adhere to CHIA Professional Code of Conduct standards * Be comfortable with the consecutive interpretation process (Simultaneous a plus) * Strong passion for interpreting and customer service. * Facilitate interpretation in a variety of subjects: in Medical, Business, and Education Settings * Be experienced with both face to face and remote interpreting.
