Location: Corpus Christi, Tx (travel required to job sites) Pay: $85,000 – $100,000 per year (based on experience) Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (overtime/weekends as needed)

Position Summary

Ragle Inc. is seeking a highly motivated, hardworking Level 2 Field Heavy Equipment Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a large heavy machinery fleet. This is a field-based position requiring travel to various project sites throughout the Corpus Christi, Tx and other areas to complete service calls on company-owned equipment.

Equipment includes excavators, skid steers, rollers, and more (John Deere, JLG, Sakai, Gomaco, Terex, CAT, etc.).

Responsibilities

* Travel to job sites to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy equipment * Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and reduce downtime * Diagnose engine, hydraulic, and electrical system issues * Use hoists, cranes, and hand/power tools to remove and replace parts * Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and job site requirements * Complete service paperwork and documentation as assigned * Maintain schedules and priorities communicated by project management * Monitor equipment for defects and recommend repairs/replacements as needed * Maintain quality control standards at each project site * Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED preferred (not required) * 3+ years of heavy equipment mechanic experience preferred * Strong troubleshooting skills in engine, hydraulic, and electrical circuits * CAT SIS and CAT ET experience preferred * Experience working on various makes/models of heavy and small equipment * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Must have valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites * Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word/Excel) * Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. * Spanish-speaking is a plus (not required) * Must provide own tools necessary to complete job duties

* Must pass pre-employment drug screening * During slow periods, may be required to work out of our shop
