About the role
Job Description
* Own and continuously improve end-to-end financial processes and coordinate accounting and reporting topics with the Shared Service Center and relevant RTL Group finance functions. * Ensure effective use and continuous improvement of SAP S/4HANA across Finance processes. * Lead and develop the local Accounting team. * Coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes in close collaboration with the RTL Shared Service Center. * Coordinate statutory financial statements and the annual audit (JAP) with KPMG. * Act as key interface between the business, Shared Service Center, RTL Group finance functions, auditors and tax advisors. * Drive process improvements, internal controls, automation and Finance transformation initiatives.
Qualifications
* Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or comparable qualification. * 5–8 years of relevant experience in Accounting, Audit, Finance Operations or Financial Process Management. * Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes, with experience in process design, optimization and stakeholder management across Finance and the wider organization. * Hands-on SAP S/4HANA knowledge beneficial. * Experience with monthly and annual closing processes and ideally working with a Shared Service Center. * Experience working with auditors and tax advisors. * First leadership experience and strong stakeholder-management skills. * Structured, hands-on and process-oriented mindset with an interest in automation and AI in Finance. * Fluent German and English.
