Node.js Full Stack Developer Sr. – Remote in Guadalajara
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Full Stack Developer as a Support Engineer L4 to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who brings deep technical expertise, strong architectural thinking, and a passion for building scalable, cloud-native applications. As a senior engineer, you will influence technical direction, mentor junior developers, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead the design and development support for L4 of full‑stack applications using Angular, Node.js, and PostgreSQL * Supervise the Cloud Architecture: Architect and implement cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services. * Validation and improvement of API Management: Build scalable APIs, microservices, and integration layers. * Propose experience for Optimization: Optimize application performance, reliability, and security. * Strong Collaboration: Work with product, architecture, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions. * Lead and conduct improvements to the DevOps team: Conduct code reviews, provide technical mentorship, and promote engineering best practices. * Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex issues across the stack and drive root-cause analysis. * Continuous Improvement: Contribute to improving development processes and standards.
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED
* Experience: Senior-level with 8+ years of experience in software development. * Frontend: Advanced proficiency with Angular, including component architecture, state management, and UI performance. * Backend: Deep experience with Node.js and modern frameworks such as Express or NestJS. * Database: Strong SQL expertise and hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including performance tuning and schema design. * Cloud: Professional experience with AWS, including designing and deploying production workloads. * Support Experience: Debugging, troubleshooting, and maintenance background.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE-TO-HAVE)
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terragrunt or Terraform). * Knowledge of SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services). * Experience with GraphQL, DynamoDB, AWS AppSync, Athena, or Glue. * Familiarity with ETL pipelines or data engineering concepts.
LOCATION & SCHEDULE
* Location: Guadalajara, Jalisco (Rinconada del Bosque). * Modality: Remote, required 2 or 3 days per month in the office to maintain infrastructure activities. * Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, and availability to support calls.
