About the role
Overview
Moonshot is hiring a Project Manager to plan, execute, and close projects while ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to approved scope and quality standards.
This role coordinates cross-functional teams, manages project risks, communicates with stakeholders, and drives successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning
* Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria * Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans
Execution & Team Leadership
* Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate activities across departments * Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed * Ensure compliance with organizational standards
Risk, Budget & Change Management
* Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues * Manage project budgets and resources * Oversee change management processes
Stakeholder Communication & Reporting
* Facilitate meetings and communicate status updates * Manage stakeholder expectations * Track KPIs and report status to leadership
Project Closeout
* Conduct project closeout activities and lessons learned
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in a related field. * 3 to 7+ years of project management experience. * Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. * Strong knowledge of project management methodologies. * Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, or similar tools. * Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* PMP certification. * Agile, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2 certification. * Relevant industry experience.
