About the role

About the Role

Join the engineering team as a Founding Product Engineer, building an AI-native regulatory and product compliance platform for manufacturers and retailers. You will work closely with engineers and users to turn product priorities into software that delivers practical value in the legal and regulatory technology space.

What You'll Do

* Turn the product roadmap into shipped features and measurable value for users.

* Speak directly with users to understand their needs and help shape product direction.

* Maintain, refactor, and scale the codebase as the product evolves.

* Use AI agents as a regular part of your software development workflow.

What We're Looking For

* Technical work experience or a strong academic background in computer science or a related field, with experience ranging from early career to 10+ years.

* A track record of shipping software products to end users.

* Strong product judgment, a user-focused and problem-oriented mindset, and the ability to identify patterns across customer needs.

* Fluency in German and English.

* Experience with TypeScript, React, Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Supabase, Azure, or Google Cloud.

* Early-stage startup, B2B SaaS, LegalTech, RegTech, or AI/ML experience is helpful.

* An entrepreneurial approach and comfort working in a fast-moving environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary: €65,000 to €75,000. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Location

Hybrid in Munich, Germany, with an expectation of working in the office four days per week.
