What You Get To Do:
A Direct Support Professional (DSP) caregiver provides direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with mental, intellectual & developmental, and physical disabilities. The ultimate goal is to empower individuals with disabilities to live as independently and comfortably as possible while maintaining their dignity and respect.
* Support safety, dignity, independence, and personal growth. * Assist with daily living, mobility, hygiene, housekeeping, and laundry. * Provide encouragement and complete required documentation.
Qualifications
What Makes You A Great Fit:
* At least 18 years old * Valid driver’s license and ability to transport people served; some roles require a personal vehicle and insurance * Dependable, compassionate, adaptable, and team-oriented * Basic communication, computer, and documentation skills * Ability to pass required background clearance
