About the role
Job Description
* Develop a deep understanding of complex, high-traffic infrastructure systems and services * Analyze distributed systems and legacy components to identify inefficiencies and optimization opportunities * Build and maintain infrastructure cost visibility, including reporting pipelines and dashboards * Identify and implement short-term and long-term infrastructure optimization initiatives * Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to present and drive technical improvements * Own optimization initiatives end-to-end, from proposal to implementation and impact validation * Improve infrastructure scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency * Contribute to Infrastructure-as-Code and automation practices
Qualifications
* At least 5 years of hands-on DevOps experience in high-traffic production environments * Strong practical experience with FinOps, infrastructure cost optimization, and reporting * Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure cost drivers and optimization strategies * Experience presenting technical proposals and optimization initiatives to engineering leadership * Solid hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform * Production experience with Kubernetes * Practical experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, preferably Terraform * Knowledge of observability and monitoring solutions * Hands-on experience with Helm * At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English
WILL BE A PLUS
* Experience working with multi-cloud environments * Background in cybersecurity, fraud prevention, trust & safety, or application protection * Practical experience with Looker * Experience with large-scale distributed systems
