Role Overview
As a Medical Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of patient care by performing administrative and clinical tasks under the supervision of providers and nursing leadership. What You Will Do
* Greet and escort patients to the exam room, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment. * Obtain and record accurate medical histories to support patient care. * Measure and record vital signs, contributing to patient assessments. * Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring they are ready for the provider. * Assist providers during examinations and procedures, facilitating efficient and effective care.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
* High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. * Current BLS-C upon hire or successful completion by the end of orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
* At least one (1) year of related experience. * Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
