About the Role
Join the engineering team at an early-stage AI company in the logistics sector. You will shape the product and technical direction through hands-on full-stack development, production AI experimentation, and ownership of critical systems.
What You'll Do
* Design, build, and maintain critical product features across the stack.
* Develop reliable tools that help logistics users work more efficiently.
* Evaluate, benchmark, and fine-tune AI capabilities for accuracy in real-world workflows.
* Experiment with models, frameworks, and agentic techniques, then ship and improve promising approaches using data and user feedback.
* Improve complex legacy code and build scalable infrastructure and automation for data and AI workloads.
* Collaborate closely with a small team as a hands-on, high-ownership contributor.
What We're Looking For
* Typically 2 to 3 years of professional experience, though relevant projects or other evidence of ability can also qualify.
* Strong full-stack engineering experience, including hands-on backend product development and work across cloud environments.
* Fluency in Python; familiarity with Go is a plus.
* Practical experience building or integrating AI/ML systems, including benchmarking, fine-tuning, and running LLM experiments in production.
* Evidence of building robust production systems, engineering for scale, and working with complex codebases.
* Strong computer science fundamentals, self-discipline, adaptability, and clear spoken English for technical discussions.
* Startup or entrepreneurial experience is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary range: €60,000 to €90,000. Equity participation is available. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Location
On-site in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. Candidates must be willing to work on-site or relocate.
