About the role
We are looking for a Data Platform Product Manager who combines product thinking with a strong understanding of cloud technologies, FinOps and Data Platform operations. In this role, you will drive the evolution of a modern data platform and enable scalable, secure and cost-efficient data capabilities across the organization.
What you'll do
* Define and execute the technical roadmap for the data platform. * Drive the development of cloud-based data environments across Azure, Databricks and related technologies. * Ensure platform scalability, reliability, security and operational excellence. * Lead FinOps initiatives, cloud cost optimization and budgeting processes. * Implement and improve DevOps/DataOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code standards. * Manage relationships with technology vendors and coordinate procurement activities. * Oversee contracts, SLAs, licensing, purchase orders and invoice validation processes. * Collaborate closely with Data, AI, Engineering, Finance and Business stakeholders.
Qualifications
What we're looking for
* 3+ years of experience managing a data platform or technical product. * Hands-on experience with Databricks, Azure Data Services or similar cloud data ecosystems. * Practical knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization. * Experience with DevOps/DataOps practices, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code. * Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. * Experience working with technology vendors, contracts and procurement processes. * Understanding of budgeting, purchase orders and financial governance processes. * English proficiency at C1 level or higher.
Nice to have
* Experience with Data Mesh, Data Governance or Lakehouse architecture. * Azure, FinOps or Product Management certifications. * Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, dbt or Atlan. * Familiarity with GDPR, AI Act and modern data governance standards.
