Job Summary
The Licensed Mental Health Therapist provides comprehensive mental health care to patients with emotional, behavioral, or psychological challenges. This role delivers evidence-based individual therapy; conducts psychosocial assessments; develops treatment plans; and collaborates with interdisciplinary clinical teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform clinical assessments, intake interviews, and mental health evaluations. * Develop and implement personalized treatment plans and goals. * Provide individual therapy using evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care). * Monitor client progress and adjust interventions as needed. * Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records. * Collaborate with neurologists, medical staff, and support providers to coordinate care. * Ensure compliance with ethical, regulatory, and documentation standards. * Participate in case consultation, supervision, and team meetings.
Required Qualifications
* Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field. * Active Colorado, Arizona or Nevada professional license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent). * Proven experience providing therapy in clinical or medical behavioral health settings. * Strong assessment, treatment planning, and clinical documentation skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred:
* Experience with neuropsychological or neurological patient populations. * Training in trauma-informed, cognitive, or integrative therapies.
Market Compensation
Base Salary Range: $100,000 – $150,000 per year
