Responsibilities: * The Manufacturing Technician is integral to the production process, responsible for operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment to uphold the highest quality standards. * This role involves monitoring production activities, troubleshooting issues, and supporting process improvements. With a focus on detail and safety, the Manufacturing Technician helps maintain the smooth and efficient functioning of the manufacturing operations. * Devises, fabricates, installs, tests, and repairs mechanical equipment and systems involving the movement of physical components in the manufacturing area. * Assisting engineers with developing technical solutions related to the operation and performance of devices and systems. * Installs, repairs, and upgrades components of mechanical devices and systems in the manufacturing area. * Devises, fabricates, and assembles new or modified mechanical components for machinery and equipment. * Conducts quality assurance/control tests and procedures.
Qualifications: * Associate degree / Vocational or technical education preferred. * Minimum 2 years of relevant experience * Previous experience in Medical Devices manufacturing. * Experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of automated systems, pneumatics, and electro-pneumatics. * Knowledge of instrumentation, lasers, vision systems, and motors. * Experience with preventive maintenance. * Basic computer repair and troubleshooting skills.
