Do you enjoy working outdoors, traveling, and making a difference in the natural environment? At EarthBalance®, we restore ecosystems across the United States, and we're looking for a motivated Environmental Technician with a valid Class A CDL to join our team.

This hands-on position combines environmental restoration, crew leadership, and equipment transportation. The Environmental Technician supervises and works alongside field crews on restoration projects while assisting with project execution and quality control. This role also supports field operations by safely loading, securing, and transporting equipment, machinery, plant trailers, and materials to and from project sites.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise and actively participate in environmental restoration projects. * Safely load, secure, transport, and unload equipment, machinery, plant trailers, and project materials. * Operate commercial vehicles and trailers in compliance with DOT regulations and company safety procedures. * Assist with project coordination, execution, and quality control. * Maintain positive working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and fellow team members.

Qualifications

* Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required. * Florida Natural Areas Applicator License preferred, or ability to obtain within six months of employment. * Experience transporting equipment, trailers, or similar materials preferred. * Willingness to travel to project locations as needed. * Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and terrain. * Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements

Most duties are performed outdoors in a variety of natural environments, including wetlands, beaches, mangroves, and uneven terrain. Work may involve hiking and utilizing 4x4 vehicles, ATVs, UTVs, swamp buggies, airboats, and other specialized equipment to access project sites.
