Job Description
Sushi Gourmet is recruiting a full-time (35 hours) Chef Manager to come and lead our team in Shrewsbury. Retail Park, Hereford Rd, Meole Brace, Shrewsbury SY3 9NB

And have:
* Experience in leading people, who can build confidence and capability in your team enabling them to succeed * Ready to work in a fast-paced environment whilst always leading by example * Pride in your work, constantly looking for ways to improve and continually learning * A good understanding of Food Safety & Health and Safety regulations, ability to follow brand standards and comply with company policies. * Reliable transportation for your commute to work early in the morning
And can:
* Be accountable for the Kiosk and the team, maintaining audit standards for food and health & safety compliance while meeting EHO expectations * Ensuring the team maintains a high standard of cleanliness and food safety on site to maintain a safe environment for our customers, our clients and ourselves * Highly organised, with a focus on forward planning * Prepare fresh ingredients by hand, including meat and raw fish products each shift * Accurately labelling products ensuring lawful compliance around food safety and allergen compliance each shift. * Be a skilled multitasker * An early riser as shifts can start at 6:00am some days * Learn new skills or improve skills already mastered

Qualifications
Level 2 Food Safety certificate, HACCP, Allergens and COSHH are Desirable although not essential as full training will be provided.
