About the role
As a member of the Test Department, you will be part of the manufacturing group that tests our products.
Responsibilities:
* Design and develop Automated Test setups for validating the latest film, television, and telecommunications equipment, including router, fiber transmission, multi-viewer and SDVN technologies * Develop and Modify code in LabVIEW and Python languages to automate the testing process * Conduct or oversee the installation and operation of electronic equipment and systems designed to automate the testing of the products * Provide training to team members within or external of the test department * Analyze test results, detect issues, and track root causes of the electronic or electrical problems * Review the malfunction of the returned devices, troubleshoot, and do basic repair for the final shipment * Compliance with all Evertz Policies and Procedures * Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned to you from time to time, as determined by the Company
Qualifications:
* Degree or Diploma in electronic or computer engineering, networking * Experience in a related field is an asset * Knowledge of programming languages (C, C++ preferred) * Knowledge of one or more of the following scripting languages: Labview, Python * Network router/switch experience desirable * Excellent Verbal and written communication skills * Works well with others in a team environment
