About the Opportunity
ARxIUM is seeking a Warehouse Associate for a 6-month contract position. In this role, you will support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Receive incoming shipments and verify products against receiving documentation. * Report discrepancies or damage and enter receipts into the ERP system. * Put away inventory in designated warehouse locations. * Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently. * Pick and deliver materials for manufacturing assembly jobs. * Perform cycle counts and research inventory discrepancies. * Support inventory control and physical inventory activities. * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. * Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. * Assist with order pulls and other warehouse-related duties as assigned. * Work independently with minimal supervision while supporting team objectives. * Work overtime when required.
Qualifications
* High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience. * 2 to 3 years of warehouse or distribution center experience. * Basic computer skills and experience with data entry. * Ability to read and understand product descriptions, labels, and inventory documentation. * Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and picker machines is preferred. * Experience with UPS and FedEx shipping systems is an asset. * Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. * Basic math skills and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements
* Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, and lift materials. * Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. * Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. * Ability to perform repetitive movements and adapt to changing priorities.
