About the role
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
* Minimum 5 years in the construction industry, with at least 2 years in a similar managerial role. * Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Ability to assess situations and make sound decisions. * Strong interpersonal skills for fostering long-term professional relationships with suppliers and contractors. * Proficiency in English (spoken and written). * Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record for auto insurance. * Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) and internet applications. * Willingness to travel and potentially relocate. * Ability to operate vehicles safely.
Essential Functions:
* Manage supply and installation contracts. * Develop and oversee project schedules and budgets. * Coordinate project activities with internal and external stakeholders. * Execute projects with a focus on risk management, safety protocols, and quality assurance. * Handle commercial aspects of supply and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) projects. * Provide direction to project teams as necessary. * Authorize purchase orders, invoices, change orders, and bank transfers. Negotiate contracts with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
