About the role
Job Description
• Provide comprehensive medical care and services to inpatient patients in assigned wards in accordance with hospital service standards, medical practice standards, patient safety requirements, and applicable laws and regulations.
• Conduct comprehensive initial and periodic medical assessments, establish diagnoses, develop and evaluate treatment plans, and monitor patients’ clinical conditions and responses to treatment throughout the hospitalization period.
• Perform medical procedures and treatments according to the patient's clinical condition, ensure appropriate medication and diagnostic management, and coordinate with specialists and other healthcare professionals in providing safe and effective patient care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, progress, and follow-up care, while collaborating with nurses and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of patient care.
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records and reports, ensure compliance with clinical, patient safety, infection prevention, and hospital policies, and participate in quality improvement initiatives, mandatory training, and competency development programs.
Qualifications
• Minimum Medical Doctor Degree (dr.) from an accredited medical school
• Must hold an active Medical Registration Certificate (STR)
• Have good clinical assessment, diagnostic, treatment planning, and patient management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
