About the role

Who we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced Azure / AKS DevOps Engineer to join the Data Exchange Hub (DEH) team in Hangzhou.

Why this role is important to us

This role will help strengthen the cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, platform reliability, disaster recovery, and operational capabilities of the DEH platform.

What you will be responsible for

As an Azure / AKS DevOps Engineer, you will:

·         Manage and support Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments, including deployment, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

·         Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

·         Support Azure cloud infrastructure and application deployment across multiple environments.

·         Design, implement, and maintain Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions and procedures.

·         Monitor system health, availability, and performance, and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues.

·         Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and scripting.

·         Work closely with developers, infrastructure, security, and production support teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

·         Participate in production support, incident troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

·         Collaborate with globally distributed team members, including teams in the US and India, and communicate project status and technical topics effectively in English.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field.

·         3+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, platform engineering, or related roles.

·         Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

·         Solid understanding of Kubernetes, including deployments, services, ingress, configuration, secrets, scaling, and troubleshooting.

·         Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.

·         Experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform or similar technologies.

·         Experience with scripting and automation.

·         Good understanding of cloud networking, security, monitoring, and high-availability concepts.

·         Experience working in an Agile development environment.

·         Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with global teams.

·         Knowledge or hands-on experience with Java, Kafka, IBM MQ, Redis, and Elasticsearch is a plus.

·         Azure, Kubernetes, or related cloud certifications are a plus.
