Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
* Build and optimize cloud-native microservices deployed on AWS ECS.
* Develop and manage integrations with DynamoDB and other data storage solutions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-quality, and performant software solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in backend software development.
* Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
* Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
* Strong experience with AWS services, particularly ECS.
* Hands-on experience with DynamoDB.
* Knowledge of software design patterns, clean code principles, and software development best practices.
* Experience with SQL and data modeling concepts.
* Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
* Experience working in Agile development environments.
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with additional AWS services and cloud-native architectures.
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
* Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
* Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging systems.
* Experience with performance tuning and application monitoring.
* Experience working with Linux operating systems.
* Familiarity with Jira.
