About the role
Are you an experienced accountant who enjoys being close to the business and taking ownership of day-to-day finance operations? SPARK Bulgaria is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. This is a hands-on role combining operational accounting, month-end closing, reconciliations, reporting and process improvement. You’ll be an important part of our Finance team and will work closely with colleagues across the business. 🔎 What you’ll do: • Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate recording of transactions • Perform account reconciliations and monitor balances • Support monthly and year-end closing activities • Prepare accounting schedules and financial reporting • Handle operational accounting matters and resolve accounting-related issues • Support statutory reporting and external audits • Work closely with internal teams and external partners • Identify opportunities to improve and streamline accounting processes • Participate in finance projects and ERP/system improvements 🎯 What we’re looking for: • 4+ years of relevant accounting experience • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting • Hands-on experience with operational accounting and month-end closing • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently • Good command of English • Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus • A proactive, hands-on and business-oriented approach ⚡ What we offer: • Monthly SPARK vouchers • Private health insurance • Competitive remuneration • Flexible working environment • Professional development opportunities • International and dynamic working environment • The opportunity to work in a growing company shaping the future of electric mobility 📍 Sofia, Bulgaria or Remote If you’re looking for a role where you can combine hands-on accounting with meaningful involvement in the business, we’d love to hear from you.
