We at Coforge are hiring Mid-Level Java Engineer with the following skill set.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies. * Implement features and bug fixes based on requirements provided by senior engineers and tech leads. * Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment. * Use AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, AI-assisted debugging) to improve coding efficiency and quality. * Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability. * Contribute to code reviews and collaborate with team members to improve codebases. * Maintain and update technical documentation. * Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Solid experience in Java (Java 17+ preferred). * Experience of Spring and Spring Boot. * Experience with Hibernate / JPA. * Experience with relational databases (MySQL) and basic exposure to NoSQL (MongoDB). * Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design. * Familiarity containers such as Docker and AWS Cloud Services (EC2, S3, RDS). * Familiarity with GenAI practices, including prompt engineering, and AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, etc). * Experience with version control (Git). * Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
