Home Health Aide (HHA) – Fort Salonga, NY
Pay: $19.65 per hour Location: Fort Salonga, NY Job Type: Home Health Care Schedule: As assigned
The HHA will assist clients with daily activities while promoting their comfort, safety, dignity, and independence.
Responsibilities
* Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene. * Provide assistance with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed. * Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary. * Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to the client's care. * Provide companionship and emotional support. * Remind clients to take medications as directed by their healthcare provider. * Observe and report changes in the client's condition to the appropriate supervisor or care team. * Follow the client's care plan and all agency policies and procedures. * Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for the client. * Respect client privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
* Valid New York State HHA Certificate required. * Minimum 1 year of HHA experience required. * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
