Job Description
Duty Engineer
* Monitor and maintain mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical faults or equipment failures promptly.
* Perform routine preventive maintenance to reduce risk of breakdowns.
* Respond quickly to emergencies, such as alarms or safety hazards, following protocols.
* Keep detailed records of equipment status, maintenance work, and incidents.
* Coordinate with other departments to address operational and technical needs.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
* Support installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment or systems as required.
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
* Diploma or degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant field)
* Relevant technical certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical safety, mechanical maintenance)
* Proven experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of engineering systems
* Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards
* Good problem-solving and analytical skills
* Ability to work independently and handle emergencies calmly
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Computer literacy for logging reports and using maintenance management systems
