WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT:

The Technical Part:

* Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field, or five (5) years of equivalent experience in industrial and construction projects within the regulated industry (Pharma, Biotech, Medical Device). * OSHA 30-hour certification, General or Construction Industry.  * Shift: Administrative, as needed. * Bilingual (Spanish and English). * Experience in: * Construction / Capital Projects safety within the regulated industry * Daily Permit-to-Work (Hot Work, Confined Space, LOTO, Excavation, Working at Heights) * EHS Reporting * JHA/JSA and Rigging / Lift Plans * Daily Toolbox Talks

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

* Provide daily EHS field support to construction and capital project activities within an operating pharmaceutical facility. * Review, issue, and audit daily work permits (Hot Work, Confined Space, LOTO, Excavation, Elevated Work) to ensure compliance with site procedures. * Review and approve contractor JHAs, Rigging Plans, and Lift Plans before work begins. * Lead daily toolbox talks and safety briefings with contractors and subcontractors. * Conduct field inspections, safety walkthroughs, and audits; identify hazards and drive corrective actions to closure. * Exercise Stop Work Authority when unsafe conditions or behaviors are observed. * Support incident and near-miss investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA follow-up. * Track and report EHS metrics, observations, and inspection findings to project leadership. * Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, local regulations, and client EHS standards; keep procedures and programs current. * Support environmental compliance on the project, including waste management, spill prevention, and storm water controls. * Conduct safety orientations and promote a strong safety culture across all contractor teams.
