Rostudios is a fast-growing international fitness and lifestyle brand, and we are looking for a motivated Financial Accountant & Controller to join our Finance Team during an exciting period of expansion. With new studios opening across multiple countries and continued international growth ahead, this is a unique opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to step into a broad and impactful role early in their career.
As a Financial Accountant & Controller, you will be responsible for the full accounting cycle of two countries (Netherlands and Belgium), supporting our month-end and year-end procedures, and preparing essential financial reports. You will also take ownership of the payroll cycle one country, ensuring accurate and timely processing. This role offers hands-on responsibility, exposure to international operations, and the chance to grow your technical and analytical skills within a dynamic, data-driven finance environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the full accounting process for two countries, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and monthly closings * Support year-end audit activities and provide accurate documentation to external auditors * Oversee and execute the payroll cycle for one country, ensuring compliance and timely delivery * Prepare and maintain financial reports, ensuring data accuracy and integrity * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to connect financial outcomes to operational performance * Identify opportunities to improve processes, automation, and financial workflows * Contribute to the overall enhancement of the finance function as Rostudios continues to scale internationally
Your qualifications
* 3+ years of experience in accounting, financial control, or a similar finance role * Solid understanding of general accounting principles and month-end processes * Experience with payroll administration * Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail * Proficiency in Excel * Experience with Exact or similar finance/accounting systems is a plus * Proactive, structured, and able to work independently in a fast-paced scale-up environment * Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus) * Living in the Netherlands
