Role Overview

As a Patient Safety Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe and supportive environment for our patients. Working under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you will provide essential care and companionship, helping patients with daily activities and monitoring their well-being. Your dedication ensures patients feel safe, comfortable, and valued during their stay.

What You Will Do

* Observe patients and report any changes to the Registered Nurse. * Assist patients with feeding, bathing, toileting, and ambulating. * Engage patients in activities they enjoy, such as reading or playing cards. * Provide companionship and emotional support to patients. * Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

* High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. * Successful completion of BLS Heartsaver during orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in patient care or a related field. * Familiarity with basic computer operations.
