Job Description
In support of the Government of Canada’s Future Aircrew Training (FAcT) program this position requires individuals with a professional demeanor, positive attitude, and excellent communication skills.
Reporting to the Senior Maintenance Manager, the Stores Clerk is responsible for the receiving, storage, tracking, and issuing all aeronautical products held in stock.
Duties include:
* maintaining parts and consumables inventory * issuing parts * shipping and receiving * updating records in the electronic inventory management system, * control and disposition of shelf-life items and unserviceable parts * management of quarantine parts store * management of company tooling and calibration * other duties as assigned
Qualifications
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Highly organized and attentive to detail * Proficiency with the Microsoft Office software suite, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel * Ability to reference, read, and interpret policies, procedures, and regulations * Previous experience with inventory management is an asset * Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Security Requirements
* Must be able to obtain Government of Canada Reliability Status security clearance, * Must be able to obtain access to controlled goods, * Must be eligible to work in Canada or be eligible to obtain a work permit, * Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
