Job Title: Multi-Skilled Operator IV [C] Compensation: $49.12–$63.02/hr Location: 8902 37th Street NW, New Town, ND 58763 Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off, 12-hour days Target Start Date: November 1, 2026 End Date: April 30, 2027 Vehicle: Agency-supplied vehicle Scope Key Accountabilities * Responsible for well operations, gas-lifted wells, ESPs, three-phase separation, gas compression, control board operation, pipeline operation, minor maintenance of valves, pumps and rotating equipment, and assisting other operators and craft personnel in their duties. * Prepares for and performs maintenance, takes readings, completes rounds, issues work permits, follows procedures, initiates work requests, writes procedures, and interfaces with support groups. * Proactively monitors well and equipment performance and takes appropriate action to maximize production. * Works with support groups to optimize chemical pump rates based on production data, including corrosion, paraffin, soap injection, etc. * Interfaces with Engineering for data-gathering requests. * Tracks test compression data. * Conducts fluid levels with an echo meter.
Required and Preferred Skills and Experience * Senior level, typically 7+ years of experience. * Provides more technical support than administrative support. * Typically viewed as a technical/functional specialist in the discipline. * Ability to apply extensive knowledge and experience to a wide variety of situations. * Recommends solutions to complex problems. * Performs major accountabilities. * Typically acts as a lead in the technical/functional area, coordinating the work of others, but is not a supervisor.
