* Greet clients and guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanour, providing assistance as needed. * Anticipate the needs of clients and guests, proactively addressing any requests or concerns to enhance their experience. * Handle client inquiries, feedback, and special requests with professionalism and attention to detail. Ensuring all enquiries are resolved satisfactorily. * Represent both companies with professionalism and integrity at all times, embodying our commitment to excellence in hospitality. * Set up and arrange event spaces according to client specifications, ensuring all tables, chairs, linens, and tableware are impeccably presented. * Collaborate with kitchen and catering staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages, maintaining the flow of service. * Maintain a clean and organised workspace, including the breakdown and cleaning of event spaces post-event. * Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of clients, guests, and staff.
Qualifications
* Friendly, outgoing personality; a people person * Great work ethic and an even greater smile * Good listening & verbal communication skills * Customer focused with a passion for offering outstanding service * Perpetuates company philosophy and culture * Works according to the BaxterStorey core values * You thrive working within a collaborative and inclusive team environment * Excellent attention to detail * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to adapt to challenges and opportunities with a solution-oriented perspective * Previous experience in a similar role, especially in the food service industry * Some knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
