Deli Assistant (Part-Time)
Mace Newmarket is seeking a Part-Time Deli Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused individual to become part of a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and serve fresh deli products to customers
* Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety
* Ensure deli counters and work areas are clean, tidy, and well-stocked
* Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers with their queries
* Monitor product quality and rotate stock as required
* Support the wider store team when needed
Requirements
* Availability to work weekend morning shifts
* Friendly, reliable, and able to work as part of a team
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Previous deli, retail, or food service experience would be an advantage but is not essential, as full training will be provided
* Willingness to learn and maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness
