Role Summary:
The Lead Specialist is responsible for driving end-to-end planning and inventory execution to ensure optimal in-stock, inventory health and business performance. This role integrates demand signals with inventory actions and partners cross-functionally to deliver strong business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Own end-to-end planning and inventory execution across assigned categories/divisions * Ensure accuracy, timelines and compliance across all deliverables * Monitor and manage key metrics such as Walk in Purchasibility, Availability, OOS and inventory health * Leverage forecasts, promotions and seasonal trends to drive inventory decisions * Lead medium to high complexity process ownership and captainships * Build and enhance reporting tools, dashboards and templates * Analyze business performance and provide actionable insights to stakeholders * Identify risks/opportunities and drive timely resolution through collaboration and escalation * Partner with global and cross-functional teams (supply chain, merchandising, stores, fulfilment optimization) to align on priorities * Drive process improvements through automation, reporting enhancements, and best practices * Support projects, deep dives and strategic initiatives for the team through strong collaboration and partnerships
Stakeholder Management
* Establish regular communication with MPLS and cross-functional partners * Share business updates, challenges and insights consistently to build a strong global team * Build strong relationships and drive alignment across teams
Basic Qualifications
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to interpret data and translate into business actions * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills * High attention to detail with strong execution rigor
Preference
* 2+ years of experience in a related field * Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations/Retail/ Management, Business Administration or related discipline. * Experience in Inventory Management, Demand Planning or retail operations * Familiarity with reporting tools, dashboards, and automation (Excel, basic SQL, Data Visualization) * Understanding of demand planning and inventory management concepts
