Location: Lexington Park, MD Position: Senior Logistics Analyst
Overview: ITC Defense is seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst to provide strategic acquisition and lifecycle logistics support to PMA‑276 Nigeria within a federal program office. This position is critical to enabling mission success for the Nigeria Foreign Military Sales (FMS) portfolio by delivering high‑quality analysis, sustainment planning expertise, and data‑driven recommendations across aircraft, weapons, and support equipment. The Senior Logistics Analyst will apply advanced knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and defense acquisition processes to strengthen program decision‑making, ensure effective coordination across the PMA‑276 enterprise, and facilitate collaboration with both U.S. government and Nigerian stakeholders as well as industry partners. . Responsibilities * Provide comprehensive Life Cycle Logistics support across the 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Security Assistance programs throughout the full acquisition life cycle. * Serve as a subject matter expert in Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS), offering guidance and risk mitigation strategies to program, case, and logistics teams. * Support the development and optimization of Life Cycle Cost (LCC) and Total Ownership Cost (TOC) management plans using structured analysis and data-supported recommendations. * Evaluate the impacts of aircraft, weapons, and support equipment quantity changes on sustainment planning, resource allocation, and lifecycle support requirements. * Apply government processes for documentation control, configuration/change management, and data management to ensure compliance and accuracy. * Assist the Program Office with new business acquisition activities, including FMS and Security Cooperation case development, execution, and follow-on sustainment planning. * Participate in Program Management Reviews (PMRs), Technical Coordination Meetings (TCMs), conferences, and other program events in CONUS and OCONUS. * Contribute to special projects and other assigned tasks that support program objectives and customer requirements. * Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: * Active Department of Defense Secret or Interim Secret Security Clearance. * Master’s degree from an accredited institution and more than ten (10) years of relevant experience in Foreign Military Sales (FMS), lifecycle logistics, program management, or acquisition-related technical/business analysis. – Additional experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree. * Demonstrated experience supporting defense acquisition programs, preferably within NAVAIR, NAVSUP, NAVSEA, or other U.S. Navy systems commands. * Comprehensive understanding of the 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements and their application across the acquisition and sustainment lifecycle. * Working knowledge of DoD logistics and sustainment policies, including Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs), configuration/data management practices, and supply chain processes. * Experience interpreting and applying Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) policies, tools, and mitigation strategies. * Proficiency analyzing technical data, sustainment requirements, provisioning data, and logistics product development artifacts. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop data-supported recommendations. * Ability to communicate complex logistics and acquisition concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing, to senior stakeholders. * Capability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
* DAWIA or DAU certification in Life Cycle Logistics (Level II or III), Program Management, or Engineering & Technical Management. * Experience supporting Naval Aviation, including familiarity with NAVAIR or NAVSUP processes and environments. * Working knowledge of Navy ERP, NALCOMIS, CMPro, or similar logistics and configuration management systems. * Experience contributing to acquisition milestone documentation or Integrated Product Team (IPT) activities. * Ability to produce senior‑level briefings, white papers, or decision support materials for government stakeholders.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Maryland, ITC Defense is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Maryland and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top end of the range, but such a decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the range is $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 annually.
