What You'll Do
As an Activities Coordinator, you'll help plan and facilitate engaging experiences that support residents' social, emotional, physical, and creative well-being.
Responsibilities include:
* Lead and assist with recreational, social, creative, and wellness activities for residents * Encourage participation through one-on-one interactions and group activities * Build relationships with residents while learning and supporting their interests * Help plan and coordinate special events, parties, outings, and seasonal celebrations * Transport residents to community outings using a small bus (CDL not required) * Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where residents can thrive * Support the overall activities program and resident engagement goals
Qualifications
* Must be at least 18 years of age * High school diploma or equivalent required * Ability to work independently and manage activities with confidence * Experience working with seniors or in an activities role is preferred but not required * Valid driver's license with the ability to drive a small bus (CDL not required) * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Creative, dependable, compassionate, and enthusiastic about working with older adults
