Position Overview

We are currently recruiting Geospatial Engineers to join our team in Somerset. This is an exciting opportunity to support a high-profile, multi-year construction project where accurate geospatial data, digital workflows and construction verification are central to project delivery.

What You Will Do

* Deliver high-precision engineering and setting-out surveys using a range of equipment, including Total Stations, GNSS, UAV, HDS, imaging tools, GPS, Data Collectors. * Collaborate with site teams, engineers, and designers to ensure survey requirements are met efficiently and accurately * Utilisation of post processing software such as AutoCAD, StarNet and BRICSCAD. * Maintain and manage survey control networks. Grid Line and Site Control, Install and Verification * Ensure all work is carried out in line with project-specific safety, security, and quality protocols * Delivering instructions and training/developments to junior members of the team. * Support project reporting and documentation in compliance with client and regulatory requirements * Prepare and analyse data for set-out for yourself and others * Build and maintain relationships with clients and various stakeholders, ensuring we deliver projects to exact customer requirements. * Any other duties as required by the business.

What You Will Bring

* Have relevant qualifications (Surveying, Geomatics or Engineering) and/or 3-5 years of relevant experience. * Fundamental knowledge of the principles and practices of surveying and geospatial engineering, especially control networks. * Ability to communicate technical information effectively. * Understand scopes of work and project requirements. * Have strong knowledge of current CAD technology. * Experience working in infrastructure and construction. * Possess a full clean UK/ International Manual Drivers’ licence * Flexibility to travel nationwide as required by our clients. * Willing and able to work a rotation-based pattern of 10 days on and 4 days off. * Possess a CSCS card or be prepared to start the process * The right to work in the UK.
